30 Days of Self-Portraits! ~ Week Two

I’ve stuck with it, and I’m half way done the 30 day self-portrait challenge. Yay!

I feel like the photos have improved over Week One, and I’m definitely enjoying the process. The biggest challenge this week was editing them down and choosing only one photo per day. I highly recommend this challenge to anyone who is feeling bored with their photography, and not consistently taking their camera out. It feels a bit silly at first, but then the creative process takes over and new ideas spring up. Kind of magical!

the iphone one is really clever. I need to do a challenge like this, I’m a bit bored with my photos these days.

These look great! I should probably do something like this in the future, too, as I really don’t have a lot of pictures of myself! I think doing projects like this helps you with your self esteem, too. You get more comfortable looking at yourself and experimenting with how a particular angle can flatter and feature your natural beauty.

I highly recommend it, Dawn! I felt a bit self-conscious at first, but I really have been taking more and better photos since I started the challenge.
